Pavel Kaltygin is a Russian sculptor whose work is firmly rooted in the classical tradition. He works in different materials - bronze, terracotta, porcelain, wood, stone, ice and many composite materials - and different techniques, creating from small jewellery items to monumental sculptures. His favourite material is a classical combination of stone and bronze. He received his degree (MFA) in sculpture from the I. Repin St. Petersburg State Academy Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in 2016. From 2017, he is member of the Union of Artists of Russia. He has participated in numerous art exhibitions and received several important awards for his work.
